Recognize ♑ Capricorn
Capricorn’s glyph is more elaborate than many of the others: an angled beginning joins a rounded loop or tail. Fonts vary considerably. Keep a labeled example nearby rather than relying on a guessed letter shape.
In the Western tropical framework used here, Capricorn is a earth sign with a cardinal modality. A sign is a named division of the astrological zodiac. It is not the same thing as a modern astronomical constellation, and it does not describe a whole person by itself.
Understand the grouping
Capricorn pairs earth’s practical emphasis with cardinal initiation. For a neutral learning exercise, ask what structure helps an undertaking begin. Do not turn the association into a promise of career success, ambition or authority for somebody with a Capricorn placement.
Compare Capricorn with Taurus. Both are earth signs, while Capricorn is cardinal and Taurus fixed. Consider creating a workable structure alongside maintaining the parts that continue to serve the group.
Try a notebook exercise
Imagine arranging a monthly reading group. Identify the minimum structure needed for the first meeting: a date, a place and a way to choose the reading. Then ask which rules can wait until the group understands its actual needs.
